Barak and I went to the Chabad house tonight for dinner. We saw somewhere that they were offering free meals during Passover, so we decided to go there instead of the Hillel house, which is charging money per meal. It was kind of a culture shock tonight, since we're not really religious Jews. Not Hasidic, or orthodox, at least. At least the food wasn't that bad. You can't get gefilte fish at the DC.
I started skateboarding last night. Jorge is lending me the older of his two skateboards; tonight Barak came with us and tried skating for the first time. Last night, no one fell down. Tonight, all three of us fell.
See Ghost World. It's one of those life-changing movies, right up there with Rushmore and Election. I think High Fidelity is almost one of those movies, too, but we're not really at that stage in our lives yet. Anyway, we loved Ghost World. Enid and Rebecca are like the two girls I always wanted to be friends with, even now.
Quote of the Day:
Rebecca: Wow, this is so bad, it's almost good.
Enid: This is so bad, it's gone past good and back to bad again.
